Robin Hood Responds: Hurricane Sandy
All week, we’ve heard many stories of perseverance from our community partners, whose tireless staffers have continued, despite the lack of power, gas and transport, serve food and perform acts of charity. From City Harvest delivering emergency food to FEMA locations in the Rockaways, Breezy Point and Coney Island, to our newest partner, The River Fund who are heading down to Coney Island today and then to Red Hook tomorrow, they all need our support now more than ever.
That’s why we have reopened the Relief Fund; to make sure they have the resources to continue the hard work on the ground to help NYC rebuild. Please visit http://www.robinhood.org/rhsandy to learn what you can do.
