After last night’s cancellation of the Concert 4 NYC, the Black Eyed Peas were truly heartbroken. A devastated Fergie called in to Z100 New York this morning to share her feelings with fans. “I hope that people really focus on what this is about—it was for poverty in New York and making New York City a better place.” Listen to the call.

Concert 4 NYC Follow Up
The heat couldn’t stop us.
The rain couldn’t stop us.
The lightning…it stopped us.
As much as we hate poverty, we hate the idea of putting anyone’s safety at risk.
Which was why, due to inclement weather, the Concert 4 NYC presented by Chase was officially cancelled by the City of New York.
At Robin Hood we aren’t quitters. We’ll never stop fighting...

Going to the Concert 4 NYC? 10 Things You Should...
1. What do I need to bring? A printed ticket is required for admittance. No exceptions.
2. Is there an age restriction? All ages are welcome, but everyone needs a ticket.
3. What about the weather? The show will go on, rain or shine. It’s supposed to be hot, so wear sunscreen and bring plenty of water.
4. What is the best time to arrive? Gates open at 3 p.m (Subject to change). Show starts...
